Hello readers! I’m a Registered Dietitian and have a passion for nutrition and health! Ever since I was little, I’ve been interested in food and the way it affects your body. I believe that the foods you eat have a direct correlation to the way you feel. Basically, HEALTHY = HAPPY. And that’s why I’m such an advocate to healthy eating-because who doesn’t want to reap the benefits of a healthy mind, upbeat mood and natural energy that all come along with healthy eating??
After graduating college, I started out in the hospital setting. I have experience working with nutritional management of various chronic and acute diseases. This includes diabetes, heart health, weight management, eating disorders, GI diseases and food allergies to name a few. After 4 years of working in the hospital, I decided to venture down the path of child nutrition and food management. I’m currently employed by a school district and love what I do!
When I’m not blogging, I enjoy working out and staying fit, through running or taking activity classes at my local gym. I’m a proud dog mama of a ten pound bichon poodle. I hope you enjoy this journey with me on my nutrition blog!
