This is a recipe for how to make frozen salmon in the air fryer (fresh salmon can also be used!) The salmon is seasoned with a blend of spices to create a flavorful, tender piece of fish.
While the air fryer is preheating, mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.
Once the air fryer has preheated, place the salmon filets in the fryer basket skin side down. (Do not put the seasonings on the fish yet).
Set the timer for 12 minutes.
After 4 minutes, open the air fryer and brush the olive oil on the top of the salmon. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the top.
Close the air fryer and continue to cook for the remaining 8 minutes. Salmon is done when the temperature of the salmon is 145F (measured with a meat thermometer).
Remove from air fryer and serve warm. Garnish if desired. Enjoy!
